Terms of Service

Last updated: [date]

Acceptance of these terms

ATPL OCR is operated by [Legal entity name] (“ATPL”, “we”, “us”), CIN [CIN], registered office [registered address], GSTIN [GSTIN]. By creating an account or using the website or API you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cancellation & Refunds policy and the Service Delivery policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you sign up for a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

Accounts and security

Give accurate details and keep them current. Keep your password and API keys secret; you are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us at once at [support email] if you suspect misuse.

Subscriptions, plans and page limits

ATPL OCR is sold as a subscription. Each plan includes a monthly page allowance and may include other limits (documents per upload, API calls, storage). The current plans and limits are shown on the Pricing page. Pages beyond your allowance are not processed until you upgrade or your next period starts, unless your plan states otherwise.

Fees and GST

Fees are in Indian Rupees and are exclusive of GST unless stated. GST at 18% (or the rate in force) is added and shown at checkout. Payments are collected by our payment gateway, Razorpay; we do not store your card or UPI details. Tax invoices are issued to the billing details you provide.

Renewal and expiry

  • Plans run for the period you buy and end on the expiry date shown in your account.
  • If payment is not received by the expiry date, the service stops: uploads and API calls are refused until you pay. Existing results remain available until deleted under our retention period.
  • You can cancel at any time as described in the Cancellation & Refunds policy.

Acceptable use

  • Do not upload unlawful content or documents you have no right to process.
  • Do not attempt to break, probe or overload the service, or bypass limits or authentication.
  • Do not resell or share access or API keys outside your organisation without our written consent.
  • Do not use the output to deceive anyone or to forge documents.

Your data

You own your documents and the extracted output. You give us a limited licence to store and process them only to provide the service to you, keep it secure, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your documents or use them to serve other customers. See the Privacy Policy.

Accuracy of output

ATPL OCR reads documents automatically and its output can contain mistakes. You must review the output before relying on it, especially for tax, customs, payment or compliance use. We extract what is printed on the document; we do not correct, complete or verify the source document or compare it to other records.

API usage and limits

API access uses keys issued from your account and is subject to the rate limits and quotas of your plan. We may throttle or block traffic that harms the service. Keep keys out of public code; revoke a leaked key at once from your account.

Intellectual property

The service, website, software and brand are owned by ATPL and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription. Feedback you give may be used by us without obligation.

Confidentiality

Each party will keep the other’s non-public information confidential and use it only for the service, except where disclosure is required by law.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation and error-free output.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ATPL is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or loss of profit, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You will indemnify ATPL against claims and losses arising from your breach of these terms, your documents, or your unlawful use of the service.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or put the service or others at risk. You may stop using the service at any time. On termination, your data is deleted under the retention period in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the app before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept them.

Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at [city], India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights.
